SOUND REASONING FOR THESE TIMES .... WORTH REVISITING!

While doing some research I stumbled upon this long forgotten interview with the late MADI SIMMONS. Although this was totally unrelated to my research I decided to sit back and take a quick listen. I soon realized that perhaps I stumbled upon this because the meditations are very relevant for 2025 and beyond.

When you work with the artists over time, the many conversations and the shared love for a special specific genre lends it's self easily to friendships and sometimes eventually a sense of an extended family bond. MADI SIMMONS fostered this energy with each and every person he met. Everyone was special to him.

STILL ENCOURAGING LISTENERS - MADI SIMMONS

It's always good news to open my mailbox and see a notification of a track getting attention and hitting the 1000 streaming marker ( or more ). I always wonder who reached the goal before opening the mail and it being revealed to me.

This time however I was flooded with a lot of varying emotions: firstly shock to see his face after losing my friend only 2 short months ago; then joy and pride for his accomplishments still rolling in, which to me is a true testimony to this artists power and focus on edifying people with his music.

Though the wounds his loss caused were re-opened for a brief second, his message " I Am Not Afraid" soon reminded me that I too should chin up, stand up and follow in the footsteps of a person who loved and edified humanity.

A TRIBUTE TO ONE OF OUR AMBASSADOR ARTISTS

We were saddened to hear that over the weekend one of our AMBASSADOR ARTISTS lost his mother.

Madi reached out via email not long after and as a testimony to the healing power of music offered this insight:

"JUST CHECKING IN,THE MEMORIES ARE FLOWING LIKE RAIN, I'M GONNA MISS HER BUT I AM GONNA BE SINGING LIKE A BIRD, IN FACT JUST RECORDED THIS..." Madi Simmons

This file is as raw as it gets, straight from the heart, not even mixed and mastered and it is dedicated to all those who also are sorting themselves out from a loss.
