Our history of 8 years on air is riddled with exceptionally creative people and we decided to keep a record of the cream of the crop in our SHYRICK BOOK OF RECORDS.
Our next three inductees have smashed the scene with their accomplishments so hard it would be criminal for us not to place them here, so let's take a look at them one by one.
If you asked us what was the one track that has stood out the most in the last 8 years and rocked the NATION hard, there would be a consensus: A1RAS' track called "LIGHTER DANCE" ignited the very moment it hit the road and continues to get the listeners wound up everytime it is played... years later!
Although we have tracks that get SHYRICK NATION excited... none landed as hard and ran as long as "LIGHTER DANCE." And it still has the power to ignite the party at the drop of a hat !
GRAND JAM 2019 saw an incredible event we are sure you are not going to see too often anywhere else. One artist walking away with three titles in one event.
JAH NICENESS however accomplished just that winning : TOP INDIE MALE REGGAE VOCALIST, TOP MALE VOCALIST as well as TOP COLLABORATION earning him the title of our TRIPPLE CROWN champion. It would be worthy noting that a total of well over 7000 global listeners showed up to vote in GRAND JAM 2019.
We on occasion schedule SPECIAL SHOWS featuring the works of an artist or a group of artists . As example we has scheduled LADIES AT THE MIC and it went over so well that SHYRICK NATION demanded we reschedule another round a few months later.
But the artist who owns the title of the MOST FEATURE SPECIALS given to them is SAXMAN JERRY JOHNSON who packed the house in all three shows. Incidentally he is also the only instrumentalist to have ever been given a special feature show here at SHYRICK.
Now that is not only a testimony to the quality of his vibe but also to the quantity of quality vibes he owns in his library, (given that it takes a minimum of 12 tracks from the artist to run an effective show!)
