During his visit to France in June 2024, Jah Light meets Winston McAnuff, who is in Paris for several dates. On this occasion, they chat with Sergent Tchatcho, Winston's host, and talk in particular about their childhood in Ivory Coast. While Sergent Tchatcho was teasing Jah Light, Winston takes him back with one of those well-felt expressions that Jamaicans have the secret of: "don't put Jah light in the dark!"
It doesn't take much more to awaken Jah Light's inspiration, who grabs his guitar and starts humming. Winston McAnuff joins him in an improvised jam session, without knowing that they have just given birth to their next single.

The following month, Winston McAnuff is in Abidjan for an exceptional concert at AZK Live, Jah Light's stronghold. The two artists meet again and Jah Light invites Winston to the studio to record this title born in Paris. They also agree Asko Dibanko, then tour manager on Winston's show, who brings an additional color with his energy and his melodies in French.
