Founded in 2023, Finix began as a simple recording project and quickly grew into a full reggae collective with 20 members currently. Two years later, the group has already performed more than 50 shows across the USA, Jamaica, and Brazil, building an impressive international grassroots following.
“WEAK ARE STRONG”, is a track born from tragedies and a deep desire to right the wrongs. The concept was originally developed by JC Bassicly who wrote the lyrics and composed the music starting with a ukulele version before moving into a full band demo. In the end, Costa Rebel delivered a deep, dubby reggae production that perfectly frames the song’s powerful message. The result is a bold anthem addressing the delusion that violence is strength instead of peaceful solidarity, delivered with authenticity, fire, and upliftment.
