Igniting stages for over a quarter-century, Fyah George is a musical luminary whose journey is a testament to the transformative power of reggae. Born George Bailey in Kingston, Jamaica, his musical destiny was kindled early. As a youth at Swallowfield Primary, he found his voice by performing the songs of the legends who inspired him, including Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, and Freddy McGregor.

 



 

George's artistic evolution is etched in the names he's embraced. Originally inspired by the legendary American artist Stevie Wonder, he first took on the moniker George Wonder. He later became George Cool-X before finally finding his true identity. The name "Fyah", a spark from his contemporary Luciano, melded with his own to create Fyah George, a name that now resonates with the fiery passion and energy of his music.
