JAHCOUSTIX is a German reggae singer-songwriter who celebrated his 25th anniversary on stage in 2026 with a new album. This cosmopolitan artist spent most of his childhood and youth in Africa, where he discovered reggae at the age of 14. 





In the late 1990s, Jahcoustix returned to Germany and in the following years became part of the thriving reggae scene in Europe, thus realizing his dream. With the release of his debut album in 2003, his music gained recognition far beyond Germany's borders. 

In the years that followed, Jahcoustix played at festivals such as the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, as well as Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, and embarked on extensive tours in Africa, the USA, South America, and New Zealand. 



Jahcoustix has released eight studio albums and numerous singles to date (including "World Citizen" featuring Shaggy) and has also collaborated with some of his biggest idols (including Israel Vibration, Horace Andy, and Akae Beka). In 2026, Jahcoustix will tour solo with his guitar, as well as with his longtime Munich-based band JAMARAM. Jahcoustix's ninth studio album will be released in spring 2026.
