Former sound engineer-turned-artiste TEARAH is determined to show the global music industry that he is destined to be one of the greats in dancehall. Adrian Morris, aka TEARAH said he entered the music industry in 2011 and took a slow-and-steady approach to his craft before releasing his first song called ‘Wiggle’ in 2016.
As his stage name suggests, Tearah is "ready to tear up the streets". Though frustrated with the setbacks, the artiste, who has been working with Digital One Productions, continues to read and seek advice from the elders in the business. He said they have not only influenced his decision to pursue a career in music, but have offered some of the best advice. Tearah says he grew up watching and taking notes from dancehall legends.
“There are a lot of trials and errors and additional factors that come with music, and in life, you have to make choices. Me basically choose the slow road and make my talent speak over time, instead of pulling any stunts or doing anything just for shock value,” Tearah said.
