Music lovers are set to flock to the coast this summer as the Skegness Reggae & Ska Festival returns for another packed weekend of live entertainment. Organizers say the event will once again bring a vibrant mix of live bands, DJs, selectors and sound systems to the East Coast, building on the success of previous years.
They describe the festival as a celebration of “positivity and unity”, adding that it continues to bring people together through music while growing its reputation as a standout event in the region.
Plans are already under way to make the 2026 edition even bigger, with multiple stages, family-friendly entertainment, street food vendors and independent traders all expected to feature.
The festival will showcase a wide range of sounds, from classic Jamaican ska and roots reggae through to dub, dancehall, lover’s rock and 2 Tone influences, reflecting both the heritage and future of the genre.
It has also been confirmed that Musical Youth will headline the Sunday line-up, bringing a selection of well-known hits and high-energy performance to the closing day.
The festival’s impact has already been recognised locally, having been named Best Event or Attraction at the 2025 Skegness Business Awards.
Organisers say the event continues to attract visitors from across the UK and beyond, while helping to promote Skegness as a destination for live music and cultural events.
They also highlight a commitment to supporting emerging talent, providing a platform for grassroots performers, DJs and collectives alongside established acts.
Skegness Reggae & Ska Festival will take place from July 3 to 5 at The Royal Hotel.
Further details, including the full line-up, ticket information and accommodation options, are expected to be announced in the coming months.
